Marketing commentary for better. Or worse.

In the second installment of Southern Comforts “Whatever’s Comfortable” campaign we find our favorite beach walker has been replaced. Alternatively, we’re introduced to a fresh and equally interesting character getting his hair washed at the local beauty parlor. You could argue that the new star doesn’t have the same presence as the ace in the original but there’s something about his disposition that reinforces the “Whatever’s Comfortable” tagline. He even finds the time to send a friendly glance to an attractive patron before easing back into his shampoo. With his snakeskin shoes and Southern Comfort in hand this heavily mustached gentleman is the perfect model for comfortable. Great follow up and an excellent ad. Yay.
