Marketing commentary for better. Or worse.

To promote their resized packaging in Israel, Coca Cola teamed up with agency Gefen Team to produce life like, 3D printed figurines of customers through the appropriately titled Mini-Me campaign. The miniature figures were limited to 150 and to be entered to win participants had to download a special mobile app, and create personalized minis that required upkeep like food and entertainment. At the end the winners were invited to the Coke’s largest production facility in Israel where the temporary 3D printing lab was setup to get their personalized Mini-Me figurine.

It’s cool to see the integration of new technology in marketing and promotional efforts. Enhancing the campaign by providing engaging elements with interaction. Be sure to check out Twinkind if you’d like to get a mini figurine of yourself. The only drawback – or benefit – is that a flight to Germany is required. On the flip side we like this a lot and applaud the Gefen Team for this ingenious idea. Check the promo video below. Via PSFK
