So, there’s lots to like in Proctor & Gamble’s two-minute “Thank You Mom” Winter Olympics spot – we’re psyched that moms are getting all that love, and they most definitely deserve it. (Yay mom! Love you.) But there’s one big element missing. We’ll let you watch and see if you can spot it.
Where’s the love for dads?
We weren’t the only ones who noticed.
Oops. Way to ignore the other half of your customer base, P&G.
Overall: great campaign, easily improved with a #becauseofdad spot running parallel.
We’ll see if marketing folks at P&G are smart enough to catch the oversight – and quick enough to act on it.
